Sam Altman says ChatGPT will not answer suicide questions from teens anymore. This follows the heartbreaking death of a 16-year-old whose chats with AI were blamed for his suicide. • TikTok’s US arm is valued at $35–40B. The US law passed in 2024 forced foreign-owned apps to sell or face a ban. The deadline to comply is December 16, 2025. Oracle will store US user data in its Texas centers, a plan earlier known as Project Texas.

• A separate app will be launched for US users with its own system and algorithm. ByteDance may license its technology to the new company. Critics argue this could let China keep some influence. Congress is asking if the setup is secure enough while China still needs to approve the deal.
