Hello There!

Google just split Gemini into three specialized models built for agents, speed, and cyber defense, which means "which AI should we use?" now has a job-description answer. OpenAI rolled out a full small-business program with training, local academies, and partner-built agents, which means the five-person shop down the street may soon run tighter operations than your enterprise. And the Suno hack turned out to touch more than 55 million people, which means your AI tools officially belong on the same risk register as your bank.

Three glowing AI server towers representing agents, speed, and cybersecurity

🧠 The Pulse

Google has released three new Gemini models in one stroke: Gemini 3.6 Flash for coding, knowledge work, and production agents; 3.5 Flash-Lite for low-cost speed; and 3.5 Flash Cyber for specialized cyber defense. The flagship Gemini 3.5 Pro stays in partner testing while Gemini 4 pretraining is already underway.

📌 The Download

  • Three models arrive – Gemini 3.6 Flash improves coding, knowledge work, and multimodal performance while using 17% fewer output tokens than 3.5 Flash, trimming inference costs for agents at scale.

  • Speed gets cheaper – Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite is positioned as Google's fastest and most economical 3.5-class model, reaching roughly 350 output tokens per second on an independent index.

  • Cyber goes specialist – Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber pairs a security-focused model with Google's CodeMender agent, and access is limited to governments and trusted partners.

  • The flagship waits – Gemini 3.5 Pro has no broad release date yet, while Google says its most ambitious pretraining run ever, for Gemini 4, has already begun.

💡 What This Means for You

The era of one best model is ending; Google is selling a toolbox. Match the model to the task: cheap, fast models for high-volume steps and stronger ones for judgment calls. Before scaling any AI workflow, benchmark quality, security boundaries, and per-task cost, exactly as you would qualify equipment for a production line.

🧠 The Pulse

OpenAI has launched a dedicated ChatGPT for Small Business program built on virtual training, in-person AI academies, plug-and-play guides, and partner-built agents and skills. It targets everyday workflows in accounting, marketing, ecommerce, and operations so lean teams can adopt AI without specialist staff or enterprise budgets.

📌 The Download

  • Training turns practical – Product-specific webinars show owners how to use ChatGPT Work across accounting, marketing, ecommerce, and daily operations, complete with demos, reusable prompts, and Q&A.

  • Academies go local – The OpenAI Academy team will run in-person AI academies across the United States, pairing guided instruction with hands-on exercises and peer support.

  • Guides remove friction – Interactive guides and short videos ship ready-made prompts, and some upload straight into ChatGPT Work so a workflow starts in minutes, not weeks.

  • Partners plug in – OpenAI is curating agents, skills, and offers from Dropbox, Shopify, Intuit, Slack, Atlassian, and Wix to cover the software small firms already run.

💡 What This Means for You

This is a repeatable AI-adoption playbook for any team, not just small firms: pick one painful task, use approved tools, measure the hours saved, document the workflow, then expand. If a five-person business can systematize AI this way, your department can too, and waiting for a specialist is no longer an excuse.

A wall of audio waveforms shattering as user profiles and payment data stream out

🧠 The Pulse

The November 2025 hack of AI music generator Suno was far bigger than anyone knew: Have I Been Pwned now counts more than 55.3 million people affected. The stolen dataset reportedly includes names, contact details, purchase records, partial payment-card data, and even Suno's own source code.

📌 The Download

  • The scale surfaced late – The breach happened in November 2025, but the 55.3 million figure only became public now through Have I Been Pwned, and Suno has not disputed it.

  • Personal data leaked – Names, physical addresses, emails, phone numbers, purchases, partial card numbers, and expiry dates were reportedly taken from Suno's Stripe account.

  • Source code went too – The attacker reportedly obtained code revealing how Suno scraped songs and lyrics from services including Deezer, Genius, and YouTube for training.

  • Fraud risk is live – Contact details plus partial payment data are prime material for phishing, impersonation, and payment fraud, so affected users should expect targeting.

💡 What This Means for You

Your AI vendors are now part of your attack surface. If you or your team ever used Suno, rotate that password, enable multifactor authentication, and treat billing-related emails with suspicion. At work, put AI tools through the same vendor risk reviews as any system holding personal or payment data.
