Hello There!
OpenAI just released an AI that can find software holes and build working exploits, which means your IT team's patch schedule just turned into a race. Google made AI video 50% longer and 30% cheaper, which means a polished 15-second clip now costs about a dollar. And NVIDIA says its new CPU runs AI agents twice as fast, which means the wait on your digital coworkers is about to shrink.

🧠 The Pulse
OpenAI released GPT-6 Cyber on November 5, a version of GPT-6 Astra trained to find software flaws, build working exploits and help write patches. Rated "Critical" for cybersecurity, the highest tier in OpenAI's risk framework, it is locked to vetted Daybreak Red customers through the API and Codex for now.
📌 The Download
A big benchmark jump – On ExploitGym, GPT-6 Cyber scored 48.5% versus 32.1% for GPT-5.6 Cyber, a roughly 51% relative gain.
Real flaws, real fixes – OpenAI says it surfaced 81 unknown high-severity Firefox bugs that Mozilla is now patching, and its research pipeline built exploits for 948 Linux flaws for about $1.2 million.
Stays inside the lines – In OpenAI's honeypot test it avoided out-of-scope targets 99.93% of the time, up from 94.49% for its predecessor.
Gated and pricier – Access widens to all Daybreak Red customers in the coming weeks, with input prices about 60% higher than GPT-5.6 Cyber.
💡 What This Means for You
The AI that finds holes for defenders can, in the wrong hands, find them for attackers, and the gap between discovering a bug and exploiting it keeps shrinking. Install updates promptly, treat unexpected links and attachments with suspicion, and expect your security team to tighten controls. Speed now favors whoever automates first.

🧠 The Pulse
Google made Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generally available on November 5. The video model now creates clips up to 15 seconds long, up from 10, lets you refine them through back-and-forth chat edits, keeps characters and products consistent, and cuts the 720p price by 30% to about $0.07 per second.
📌 The Download
50% more runtime – Native generation and editing now reaches 15 seconds, enough for a complete short ad in a single pass.
Cheaper drafts – At $0.07 per second, a 15-second 720p clip costs about $1.05, and you can draft at low resolution before upscaling to 1080p or 4K.
Edit by conversation – Turn-by-turn instructions change only what you ask, leaving logos, characters and products untouched.
Available almost everywhere – It ships in the Gemini API, Google Cloud, Flow and Google Ads, with longer clips in Google Vids for anyone with a Google account.
💡 What This Means for You
A polished 15-second explainer now costs about a dollar and a few minutes. Use it for training snippets, process walkthroughs and project updates, but review every frame for accuracy and brand fit. The skill that matters is no longer editing software; it is describing exactly what you want and judging the result.

🧠 The Pulse
NVIDIA published new results on November 5 for Vera, its CPU built for agentic AI. In a 100-megawatt data center comparison, Vera delivered 1.6x more agents per watt than the fastest x86 CPU and twice the agent speed of the most energy-efficient one, with early partners reporting similar gains on real workloads.
📌 The Download
Agents run on CPUs too – Between GPU reasoning steps, agents search, query databases, run code and call tools, all on the CPU.
Partners report gains – Perplexity ran agentic coding tasks 1.5x faster and plans to deploy Vera, while DeepInfra measured up to 2.2x the best x86 chip on agent orchestration.
Sandboxes spin up faster – Daytona brought 1,000 agent sandboxes online in 10.8 seconds, versus 88.4 seconds on x86.
One chip, fewer trade-offs – NVIDIA pitches Vera's 88 custom cores as one CPU for both speed and capacity, though the x86 rivals in its comparison are unnamed.
💡 What This Means for You
The speed of your AI assistant depends on hardware you will never see. As agent infrastructure gets faster and cheaper per watt, expect workplace agents to handle longer, multi-step tasks without lag. Start mapping which repetitive workflows you would hand to an agent once waiting stops being the bottleneck.
