🧠The Pulse
Microsoft is about to turn OneDrive into much more than storage. A new Windows app is coming in 2026 that puts your photos first, shows people view, builds AI slideshows, and gives simple editing tools. Mobile users will soon see AI fix blurry photos, clear duplicates, and bring back special memories.
📌The Download
Microsoft is building a new OneDrive app for Windows that works like a modern photo gallery. It will not only show cloud files but also display local photos stored on your PC. The app can group faces, let you name people, and sort them automatically. Microsoft plans to release this app next year.
The update also introduces a Photos Agent that works like a smart helper. You can type a request like show me all holiday pictures or find every beach sunset and the AI will gather them instantly. Copilot is coming inside OneDrive too. It will summarize documents, compare different versions, and pull useful details without leaving the app.
On phones, OneDrive will bring a new moments tab that highlights older events and memories. AI will automatically create slideshows, clean up duplicate and blurry photos, and even add simple animations. File sharing is getting easier with a hero link feature. You will only need to send a single link, just like Google Docs, instead of handling complex permissions.
💡What This Means for You
Your photos and files will soon be much easier to manage. Instead of searching through endless folders, AI will show memories, clean your photos, and give you quick ways to share. OneDrive is turning into a central hub where your work, your files, and your personal photos live together in one place.
🧠The Pulse
Google just launched Gemini Enterprise which is its new all-in-one AI platform for companies. It is designed to handle real work, not just chat. From banks to retailers to cruise lines big names are already testing it. The message is clear: your future work partner could be an AI agent.
📌The Download
Google CEO Sundar Pichai introduced Gemini Enterprise as a complete platform that connects to company data apps and documents. It gives employees a way to chat with information while also letting businesses create their own agents or use Google’s ready-made ones. This platform is powered by Google research DeepMind and Gemini models built on its cloud infrastructure.
Well known brands are already signed up. Figma is exploring design workflows, Klarna is testing financial use cases and Best Buy reports more customers are solving issues like rescheduling on their own. Virgin Voyages says it has deployed over 50 AI agents to run parts of cruise operations. HCA Healthcare is piloting a nurse handoff tool that generates shift reports for staff.
The service costs about $30 per user each month for large companies and about $21 for smaller teams. It works with major business tools such as Microsoft 365 Salesforce and SAP. Google highlights that 65% of its cloud customers already use AI. Analysts say this move is a direct answer to Microsoft Copilot OpenAI and Anthropic with the advantage of deeper ties to Google Cloud.
💡What This Means for You
AI is moving into the core of daily work tools. If your company uses Google Cloud this platform could be in front of you soon. Prices and customer stories show that adoption is real. The choice is no longer whether to use AI but how quickly you adapt.
