AWS published a blueprint for a continuous "physical AI model factory" that runs Nvidia's Cosmos 3 on Amazon SageMaker HyperPod. Instead of one big training job, robots and autonomous vehicles improve through a four-stage flywheel: ingest real-world data, generate synthetic data, post-train the model, and evaluate it in closed-loop simulation, then repeat.

Physical AI needs a loop – AWS argues robots cannot be built with a single training run; they need repeated cycles of real data, synthetic data, post-training, and closed-loop evaluation.
Cosmos 3 is the brain – Nvidia's omnimodal model uses a Mixture-of-Transformers design and runs in three modes (forward dynamics, inverse dynamics, and policy), so one GPU pool serves every stage.
HyperPod keeps it running – SageMaker HyperPod on EKS provides one persistent, health-monitored GPU pool with automatic node recovery and job auto-resume, so the factory never rebuilds infrastructure for each cycle.
Goodput is the metric – AWS says cost is governed by GPU goodput, the useful progress per reserved GPU-hour; its 64B-parameter post-training run scaled from 8 to 32 GPUs at 97 to 99 percent of linear.

Brightband's independent live evaluations rank it the most accurate model available, and it already powers weather in Google Search, Gemini, Maps, and Google Cloud.

Five times sharper – Temperature and moisture arrive at 5 km resolution, other surface variables at 10 km, and atmospheric variables at 25 km, a picture Google says is roughly five times sharper than its previous model.
Rain gets real – Google reports precipitation-score gains of up to 60 percent against IMERG satellite estimates and up to 50 percent more accurate rain forecasts for longer-range planning.
Built for energy and operations – It forecasts turbine-height 100-meter wind, cloud cover, and solar radiation, and ships through the Maps Platform Weather API, Earth Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
