Thatās what NVIDIAās CEO said, calling AI āthe largest infrastructure buildout in history.ā Their chips helped make it happen. Now theyāre collaborating with Miso Robotics for key robotics advances. Misoās restaurant-kitchen-AI robots logged 200K+ hours for brands like White Castle. Collaboration software giant Atlassian will lay off about 1,600 employees ā roughly 10% of its workforce ā to redirect resources to AI and large-enterprise sales. CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes said the restructuring reflects changing skill needs rather than cost cutting, with most job losses in North America, Australia and India.
šThe Download
Job reductions ā Atlassian will axe around 1,600 roles, representing about 10% of its workforce, to reallocate funds toward AI development and enterprise sales.
Regional impact ā Around 40% of the cuts are in North America, 30% in Australia and 16% in India; the restructuring is expected to cost $225 ā $236 million.
Leadership change ā Chief technology officer Sri Viswanath will leave at the end of March, and Atlassian says the overhaul should be complete by the fourth quarter, with affected staff given severance and job transition assistance.
Skill shift ā Cannon-Brookes said AI has altered the skill mix needed to serve customers. Rather than replacing people with AI, Atlassian plans to invest in talent with machine-learning expertise and reassign resources from underperforming projects.
š”What This Means for You
Large-scale AI shifts can lead to painful job cuts even at successful tech firms. Employees should proactively reskill in AI-related domains and monitor internal organizational priorities. For employers, transparent communication and retraining programs are critical to maintain morale during AI-driven restructuring.

Google rolled out major Gemini upgrades across Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive, allowing users to draft and refine documents, build spreadsheets, create presentations and summarize files with natural language. The AI uses context from emails and files to produce relevant content and cite sources, making collaboration faster and smarter today.
šThe Download
Docs drafting ā Gemini drafts documents using your prompt and related documents. It refines paragraphs, rewrites sections and matches tone based on a reference doc. The assistant helps reformat content and ensures the style stays consistent.
Sheets assistant ā Users can create spreadsheets from scratch by describing what they need. Gemini uses relevant emails and files to intelligently populate rows, build dashboards and categorize or summarize data using āFill with Gemini,ā reducing manual setup.
Slides design ā Acting as a design collaborator, Gemini can craft slides or entire presentations from a prompt, pulling context from your data. It can edit individual slides based on feedback and will soon generate decks.
Drive & search ā A new Ask Gemini in Drive feature delivers instant answers and summaries across files with citations. It synthesizes information from documents, emails and the web, enabling complex queries and integrated AI search functions across your workspace.
š”What This Means for You
Geminiās deeper integration across Google Workspace means AI can handle tedious document drafting, spreadsheet setup and slide design. Professionals will save time and can focus on analysis and storytelling. However, ensure the AIās suggestions align with company guidelines and doubleācheck autoāgenerated content for accuracy before sharing final drafts publicly online.
